Profile Settings

Manage your personal information, avatar, and professional details in YAPL.

Profile Settings

Your profile settings contain personal information that identifies you across YAPL. This information is visible to other members in your workspaces.

Accessing Profile Settings

  1. Click Settings in the sidebar navigation
  2. Select Profile tab
  3. View and edit your personal information

Personal Information

Full Name

Your display name shown throughout YAPL.

Uploading an Avatar

  1. Go to Settings > Profile
  2. Click on your current avatar (or placeholder)
  3. Select an image file
  4. Adjust crop if needed
  5. Save changes

Avatar Tips

  • Use a clear, recognizable photo
  • Face should be visible
  • Good lighting recommended
  • Professional appearance preferred

Removing Avatar

  1. Go to Settings > Profile
  2. Click on your avatar
  3. Select Remove or upload a new one

Workspace Memberships

View your membership across workspaces:

Viewing Memberships

  1. Go to Settings > Profile
  2. Scroll to Workspace Memberships section
  3. View list of all workspaces

Membership Actions

From this view, you can see:

  • All workspaces you belong to
  • Your role in each
  • Quick access to each workspace

Onboarding Progress

If you haven't completed onboarding:

Your profile tracks onboarding completion:

  • Profile setup
  • Organization configuration
  • Subscription selection
  • Team invitation

Completing Onboarding

  1. Look for onboarding prompts
  2. Complete remaining steps
  3. Progress saves automatically

Saving Changes

How to Save

  1. Make your changes
  2. Click Save Changes or Update Profile
  3. Wait for confirmation
  4. Changes apply immediately

Validation

The system validates:

  • Required fields filled
  • Field lengths respected
  • Phone format correct
  • Image format supported

  • Refresh avatar periodically

Troubleshooting

Cannot Save Changes

  • Check all required fields
  • Verify field lengths
  • Ensure phone format is valid
  • Try refreshing the page

Avatar Not Uploading

  • Check file format (JPG, PNG, GIF)
  • Reduce file size if too large
  • Try a different browser
  • Clear browser cache

Email Not Updating

  • Email changes require support assistance
  • Contact support for email modifications
  • Verification required for security
