Account Settings

Your YAPL account settings control your personal information, security, and how you interact with the platform. These settings are separate from workspace settings and apply to your user account across all workspaces.

Accessing Account Settings

1. Click Settings in the sidebar navigation
2. Select the appropriate tab:
   • Profile - Personal information
   • Account - Security settings
   • Preferences - Display and notification options

Account Information

Your account includes:

Workspace Memberships

From your profile settings, you can view:

• All workspaces you're a member of
• Your role in each workspace
• When you joined each workspace

Profile Completeness

• Add a profile picture for easy identification
• Include your job title for context
• Keep contact information current

Security

• Use a strong, unique password
• Update password regularly
• Verify email address is current

Preferences

• Set your preferred language
• Choose a comfortable theme
• Configure notifications to reduce noise
