View, download, and understand your YAPL invoices.

Access your billing history, download invoices, and understand your charges.

Accessing Invoices

Finding Invoice History

  1. Navigate to Settings in sidebar
  2. Select Subscription tab
  3. Scroll to Payment History section
  4. View list of invoices

Who Can Access

Only workspace owners can view invoices. Team members do not have billing access.

Invoice List

Information Displayed

Each invoice entry shows:

Invoice Statuses

Viewing Invoice Details

Opening an Invoice

  1. Find invoice in history
  2. Click to view details
  3. Or click download icon

Invoice Contents

Full invoice includes:

Header Information:

  • Invoice number
  • Invoice date
  • Due date
  • YAPL company details

Customer Information:

  • Company name (from Organization Profile)
  • Billing address
  • Tax ID (if provided)

Line Items:

  • Subscription plan
  • Additional seats (if any)
  • Proration adjustments
  • Taxes

Totals:

  • Subtotal
  • Tax amount
  • Total due
  • Amount paid

Downloading Invoices

Single Invoice

  1. Find invoice in history
  2. Click download icon
  3. Invoice downloads as PDF

Invoice Format

Downloaded invoices are:

  • PDF format
  • Printable
  • Suitable for accounting

Bulk Download

For multiple invoices:

  1. Download each individually
  2. Or contact support for bulk export

Monthly Subscription

Invoice Dates

Billing Date

Your monthly billing date:

  • Set when subscription started
  • Same day each month
  • Invoice generated on this date

Due Date

Usually same as billing date for automatic payments.

Period Covered

Invoice shows:

  • Period start date
  • Period end date
  • Services for that period

Payment Methods

Viewing Payment Method

Invoice shows payment method used:

  • Card type (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)
  • Last 4 digits
  • Expiration indicator

Updating Payment Method

To change card on file:

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Click Update Payment Method
  3. Enter new card details
  4. Save changes

Failed Payments

Identifying Failed Invoices

Failed payments show:

  • "Failed" status
  • Outstanding balance
  • Retry information

Resolving Failed Payments

  1. Check payment method is valid
  2. Update card if needed
  3. Retry payment
  4. Or contact support

Grace Period

After failed payment:

  • 3-day grace period
  • Full access during grace
  • Update payment to continue

Invoice for Accounting

Tax Compliance

Invoices include:

  • Tax ID (if provided)
  • Tax breakdown
  • Legal company details
  • Invoice number for records

Record Keeping

Recommendations:

  • Download invoices monthly
  • Store for tax records
  • Maintain organized archive

Expense Reporting

Use invoices to:

  • Document business expenses
  • Support reimbursements
  • Track software costs

Company Information on Invoices

Source of Information

Invoice company details come from:

  • Organization Profile settings
  • Billing address configuration
  • Tax ID entries

Updating Invoice Details

To change how your company appears:

  1. Go to Settings > Organization
  2. Update company information
  3. Changes apply to future invoices
  4. Historical invoices unchanged

Refunds

Refund Invoices

If refund issued:

  • Separate credit invoice generated
  • Shows original invoice reference
  • Negative amount indicates credit

Refund Reasons

Common reasons:

  • Accidental duplicate payment
  • Service issues
  • Plan change adjustments

Requesting Refund

Contact support for:

  • Billing errors
  • Duplicate charges
  • Service issues

Troubleshooting

Cannot Access Invoices

"You don't have permission"

  • Only owners can view billing
  • Verify your workspace role

Invoice Not Appearing

  • Refresh the page
  • Check date range
  • Verify payment completed
  • Contact support if missing

Incorrect Invoice Details

Company information wrong

  • Update Organization Profile
  • Applies to future invoices

Charge seems incorrect

  • Review line items
  • Check for proration
  • Verify seat count
  • Contact support

Cannot Download Invoice

  • Try different browser
  • Clear browser cache
  • Check popup blocker
  • Contact support
