Use this checklist to ensure you've completed all essential setup steps and are ready to manage projects effectively in YAPL.
Account Setup
Complete these foundational steps first:
- Created YAPL account - Registered with email and password
- Verified email address - Clicked verification link in email
- Set up profile information:
- Full name
- Job title (optional)
- Profile picture (optional)
- Bio (optional)
- Configured display preferences:
- Language (English or Turkish)
- Theme (Light, Dark, or System)
- Date and time format
Workspace Configuration
Configure your workspace foundation:
- Completed workspace setup:
- Workspace name configured
- Description added (recommended)
- Industry type selected
- Set regional preferences:
- Default currency
- Date format
- Fiscal year start month (for financial reporting)
- Added company information:
- Organization type (Individual or Company)
- Company/Individual name
- Tax ID (for invoicing)
- Billing address
- Configured project numbering:
- Code prefix set

Subscription & Billing
Ensure your subscription is properly configured:

Team Setup
Organize your team structure:
- Created at least one team:
- Team name reflects its purpose

- Invited team members:

- Roles match responsibilities

First Project
